<![CDATA[Abstract: Linear programs are materials that are widely implemented in everyday life. However, in solving linear program problems, especially the Simplex method, errors often occur. This research aims to determine student errors, the location of student errors, and the factors causing these errors. This research is qualitative and descriptive, using Kastalon criteria. The subjects in this study were 167 students in the Open University Mathematics Education study program for the 2024.1 registration period. Research data is obtained through written assignments on the LMS (Learning management system) page. The questions given to the subject are in the form of description questions. The results showed that 8.04% of students made conceptual mistakes, and 19.64% of respondents made procedural errors. From the results of the analysis, the solution that can be implemented is for tutors to be more active in discussion sessions on online tutorials.Keywords: Kastalon, linear program, simplex method Abstrak: Program linier merupakan materi yang banyak diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun dalam penyelesaian soal program linier terutama metode Simpleks sering terjadi kesalahan. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kesalahan siswa, letak kesalahan mahasiswa, dan faktor penyebab kesalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan kriteria Kastalon. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Terbuka masa registrasi 2024.1 sebanyak 167 orang. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tugas tertulis pada laman LMS (Learning management system). Soal yang dinberikan kepada subjek, berupa soal uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 8,04% mahasiswa melakukan kesalahan konseptual, dan 19,64% responden melakukan kesalahan prosedural. Dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, solusi yang dapat dilakukan adalah tutor lebih aktif dalam sesi diskusi pada Tutorial Online.Kata kunci: Kastalon, metode simpleks, program linier]]>
