Abstract

Beginning writing skill is a skill that trains students to be able to write written symbols which, when arranged in a structure, these symbols become meaningful. Furthermore, with this basic ability, students are able to express ideas, thoughts, feelings into written language. In the initial writing skills, students' fine motor skills are very important. Beginning writing is influenced by the teacher's ability to manage learning activities. Teachers can use letter card media and serial picture media. Thus it will make it easier for students to learn to write the beginning and learning objectives can be achieved. In addition to the role of the teacher, the role of parents in this case also influences the progress of initial writing skills. Parents at home can also accustom their children to always practicing, which makes students accustomed to writing both at home and at school.
