Folklore contains many moral messages such as good manners, mutual love and helping others. One of the researchers used a qualitative descriptive method. This research data collection technique uses reading and note-taking techniques. Based on the results of research and analysis regarding the form and function of local wisdom in Waaisalaka folklore in Waai Country. This research aims to describe the form and function of local wisdom in Waaisalaka folklore in Waai Country to maintain a harmonious relationship between society and nature. Local wisdom is closely related to culture, which is a reflection of each region, created and transmitted orally and preserved and passed down from generation to generation.
