The results show that in securing Indonesia's border sea area in the Sulu Sea, INDOMALPHI's trilateral maritime patrol strategy has played an important role. This collaboration between Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines through this trilateral has succeeded in increasing security and stability in the region. In its implementation, INDOMALPHI's trilateral maritime patrol has faced several challenges. One is coordination between three countries that have different policies and procedures. In addition, other challenges are the vast and complex Sulu Sea area, as well as the presence of armed groups that are still active in the region.
