<![CDATA[Sustainable development has become a significant global agenda in an effort to maintain a balance between economic growth, environmental protection and social welfare. Indonesia, as a country with a large population and natural and cultural diversity, faces complex challenges in achieving sustainable development goals. This research aims to analyze sustainable development goals in Indonesia, identify the challenges faced, and formulate policy recommendations to advance the implementation of sustainable development. The government's steps for efficiency and effectiveness, the formation of regulations and support for strengthening state institutions in government governance, are presented in this research using descriptive analysis methods with a qualitative approach. Data was obtained through literature reviews, analysis of government policies and laws and regulations regarding sustainable development in Indonesia. It is hoped that the results of this research will reveal that sustainable development goals in Indonesia include aspects such as: (1) inclusive and sustainable economic growth; (2) sustainable management of natural resources; (3) social empowerment and community welfare; (4) environmental protection and climate change mitigation; and (5) strengthening governance and community participation. However, the implementation of these goals is faced with challenges such as socio-economic disparities, environmental degradation, lack of coordination between sectors, and climate change, so that government steps or policies as part of implementing sustainable development are in line with the SDGs.]]>
