PENERAPAN METODE DEMONSTRASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL PEMBELAJARAN MENYUBLIM SISWA KELAS III SD MUHAMMADIYAH 9 MALANG

This research article aims to determine the application of the demonstration method to sublime material using the demonstration method. The researcher uses the demonstration method because it is considered capable, appropriate and relevant to the material presented, namely regarding changes in the shape of immoral objects. Based on the results of previous studies, information was also found that using the demonstration method can increase students' understanding levels and student learning outcomes, especially in science subjects at the elementary school level. Besides using the demonstration method, the lecture method, question and answer, and assignment are used to support the implementation of this research. The subjects of this study were students of class III Khatijah A SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang, totalling 12 students. The results of the research in the field showed that by using the demonstration method, students were able to understand the concept of sublime material optimally with an average score of 981. So it can be concluded that the use of the demonstration method in class III Khatijah A SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang has been implemented well and can increase students' understanding. Abstrak Artikel penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode demosntrasi pada materi menyublim dengan menggunakan metode demosntrasi. Peneliti menggunakan metode demonstrasi karena diangga mampu, sesuai dan relevan dengan materi yang disajikan yakni mengenai perubahan wujud benda menyblim. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian sebelumnya juga ditemukan informasi bahwa dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan tingkat pemahaman siswa dan juga hasil belajar siswa khsusunya pada mata pelajaran IPA di jenjang sekolah dasar. Selain menggunakan metode demonstrasi, untuk mendukung pelaksanaan penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan pemberian tugas. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III Khatijah A SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang yang berjumlah 12 siswa. Hasil penelitian di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode demosntrasi siswa mampu memahami konsep materi menyublim secara optimal dengan rata-rata nilai yakni 98. Sehingga dapat disinpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode demonstrasi dikelas III Khatijah A SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang sudah dapat terlaksana dengan baik dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa.
