ABSTRAK Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk: Mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa setelah digunakannya metode cooperative script pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 4 SATAP Paguyangan Semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Terutama pada materi Bahasa IndonesiaPenelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan di kelas VII SMPN 4 SATAP Paguyangan.tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 28. Tindakan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode cooperative script dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi teks prosedur. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh selama pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas, dapat di jelaskan bahwa: hasil peningkatan pretasi belajar siswa dari prasiklus/tes awal prestasi siswa masih rendah karena di bawah KKM sebesar 70 yang ditetapkan sekolah. Rata-rata kelas hanya mencapai nilai 61,57. Pada siklus I setelah digunakan metode cooperative script pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia rata-rata kelas mengalami peningkatan menjadi 74,29 sudah mencapai KKM namun masih pada keriteria sedang dan ketuntasan belajar masih 64,29 % belum mencapai 80% maka dilanjutkan ke siklus II. Pada siklus II rata-rata kelas mencapi nilai 84,10 sudah termasuk keriteria baik. Dan ketuntasan belajar siswa jg sudah tutas dengan persentase ketuntasan 96,43 % melebihi kriteria keberhasilan yaitu 80%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa: penggunaan metode cooperative script dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa Kelas VII SMPN 4 SATAP Paguyangan semester I tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 Kata-kata kunci: Hakikat berbicara, Teks Prosedur, Cooperative Script IMPROVING PROCEDURAL TEXT SKILLS USING THE COOPERATIVE SCRIPT METHOD IN GRADE VII STUDENTS OF SMPN 4 PAGUYANGAN ABSTRACT: This classroom action research aims to: Determine the increase in student activity and learning achievement after using the cooperative script method for class VII students at SMPN 4 SATAP Paguyangan Semester I 2020/2021 Academic Year. Especially in Indonesian language material. This research was carried out using the classroom action research method which was carried out in class VII of SMPN 4 SATAP Paguyangan. academic year 2020/2021 with a total of 20 students. The actions were carried out using the cooperative script method in learning Indonesian with procedural text material. This research was carried out in two cycles. Based on the results obtained during the implementation of classroom action research, it can be explained that: the results of increasing student learning achievement from the pre-cycle/initial test, student achievement is still low because it is below the KKM of 70 set by the school. The class average only achieved a score of 61.57. In cycle I, after the cooperative script method was used in Indonesian language learning, the class average increased to 74.29 and had reached the KKM but was still at medium criteria and learning completeness was still 64.29% and had not yet reached 80%, so it was continued to cycle II. In cycle II the class average achieved a score of 84.10, which is included in the good criteria. And students' learning has also been completed with a completion percentage of 96.43%, exceeding the success criteria of 80%. So it can be concluded that: the use of the cooperative script method can increase the activity and learning achievement of Indonesian Language for Class VII students at SMPN 4 SATAP Paguyangan semester I of the 2020/2021 academic year Key words: Essence of speaking, Procedure Text, Cooperative Script
