Pengaruh Aromaterapi Lemon Dalam Mengurangi Emesis Gravidarum Pada Ibu Hamil Trimester 1 Di Desa Taddan Kecamatan Camplong Kabupaten Sampang

Abstract

Pregnant women in the first trimester will experience nausea and vomiting which can cause discomfort. If the nausea and vomiting occcurs excessively and interferes with daily activities, it will cause hypermesis gravidarum in pregnant women. The condition of emesis gravidarum is a common problem and is often experienced in the first trimester of pregnancy, nausea and vomiting generally occurs in the morning. Quasi Experiment research design, One Group Pretest-Posttest. The population and sample in this study were all 1st trimester pregnant women in Taddan Sampang Village totalling 13 people using a total sampling technique. Collecting data using a questionnaire sheet and observation. The data obtained was processed using the methods of editing, coding, scoring, tabulating, interpretating and analysis with the Wilcoxon statistical test. Most of the respondents 7 people (54%) experienced severe emesis gravidarum before the intervention. All 13 respondents (100%) experienced mild emesis gravidarum after the intervention. Based on the result of the bivariate Wilcoxon test, it was found that the p value was 0.001 < 0.05, which means that there is an effect of lemon aromatherapy in reducing emesis gravidarum in first trimester pregnant women in Taddan Sampang. There is an influence between the two variables. It is hoped that first trimester pregnant women can apply lemon aromatherapy as a non-pharmacological alternative to treat emesis gravidarum.
