This study aims to determine (1) the implementation of tahfidz learning for fourth grade studentsat MI Takhassus Ma'arif NU Prapagkidul, (2) supporting and inhibiting factors in the process ofmemorizing the Qur'an for fourth grade students at MI Takhassus Ma'arif NU PrapagkidulPurworejo. This research is a qualitative research with the type of phenomenological research.Collecting data in this study is by way of observation, interviews, and documentation. The researchinstrument used observation sheets and interviews. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display,and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: (1) Theimplementation of tahfidz learning, especially in class IV MI Takhassus Ma'arif NU Prapagkidulhas been carried out in accordance with a predetermined program: a) Planning: There is a schedulefor implementing tahfidz learning. b) Implementation: Tahfidz learning is carried out everyMonday-Friday starting at 07.30-09.00 which is preceded by doing congregational dhuha prayersand reading asmaul husna before learning begins. c) Monitoring: Coordinated tahfidz learning,accompanied by class teachers, there is a tahfidz monitoring book. d) Evaluation: With a tahfidzmonitoring book and testing students' memorization achievements. (2) Supporting factors: a)Talent and interest, b) Age, c) Intelligence. Inhibiting factors: a) Feeling lazy, b) Difficultymanaging time, c) Forgetting. Overall, the implementation of Al-Qur'an tahfidz learning in classIV MI Takhassus Ma'arif NU Prapagkidul Purworejo has been going well.
