<![CDATA[This paper aims to analyze the Political Strategy of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerinda) to Fulfill Women's Representation in the Pontianak City Provincial Legislatives Council Ahead of the 2024 Election. in the Pontianak City Regional People's Legislative Council ahead of the 2024 general elections. In this study the approach used was a qualitative approach, qualitative research, namely research used to examine the conditions of natural objects, where the researcher is the key instrument. The results of the research are as follows: Increasing the quota for women's representation in the political sphere is a form of affirmative policy implementation. steps to accelerate the government in realizing gender equality. To achieve this goal, collaboration between the government, political parties, voters and women candidates is required. Stages of preparing a slick participation strategy from political parties, so that the quota for women's representation will increase. Women have the same rights as men to participate in various aspects of life. Related to politics that takes care of the lives of many people, including women themselves. Adequate representation of women in the legislature will be urgently needed. This can be seen in the legislative conditions in the past where women's representation was minimal so that women's interests were neglected. It is hoped that the 30 percent quota for women's representation will provide opportunities for women to be more involved, especially in the political sphere.
