ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis paragraf deskripsi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh dan peningkatan antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran menulis terbimbing dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran proses menulis terhadap kemampuan menulis paragraf deskripsi siswa sekolah dasar kelas IV. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan hasil diperoleh nilai thitung = 2,1 dan nilai ttabel = 1,68. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh dan peningkatan kemampuan siswa yang menggunakan model menulis terbimbing dan model proses menulis. THE INFLUENCE OF GUIDED WRITING LEARNING MODELS AND THE WRITING PROCESS DESCRIPTION PARAGRAPH WRITING SKILLS ABSTRACT This research was motivated by students' lack of ability to write descriptive paragraphs. The research aims to determine the differences in influence and improvement between students who use the guided writing learning model and students who use the writing process learning model on the ability to write descriptive paragraphs for fourth grade elementary school students. The results of this research show that there are differences between the experimental class and the control class with the results obtained tcount = 2.1 and ttable value = 1.68. So it can be concluded that there is an influence and improvement in students' abilities who use the guided writing model and the writing process model.
