<![CDATA[This research is to explore the practice of primbon traditions in wedding ceremonies for the people of Harjokuncaran Village, Sumbermanjing Wetan District, by considering the perspective of the Syafi'i Madzhab. Qualitative research methods were used to collect data through participant observation and in-depth interviews with local community leaders. The findings show that the primbon tradition has a significant role in weddings in the village, with an influence that reflects the values and teachings of the Syafi'i Madzhab. The implications of this research open up space for further understanding of the relationship between local traditions and religious teachings in the context of marriage in rural Indonesian communities. This kind of research provides valuable insights for practitioners and academics in understanding cultural and religious dynamics and promoting deeper intercultural dialogue in the context of marriage in Indonesia.
