Abstract

AbstrakPandemi COVID-19 yang melanda pada awal tahun 2020 berdampak pada sosial ekonomi masyarakat akan keberlangsungan kerja dan pendapatan pekerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh job insecurity terhadap komitmen organisasi pada karyawan kontrak di masa pandemi COVID-19 dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 100 karyawan kontrak pada PT. X dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala job insecurity dan skala komitmen organisasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa job insecurity berpengaruh negatif terhadap komitmen organisasi pada karyawan kontrak di masa pandemi COVID-19. Semakin tinggi job insecurity yang dimiliki oleh karyawan kontrak akan menyebabkan komitmen organisasi karyawan semakin menurun.Kata Kunci: Job Insecurity, Komitmen Organisasi, Karyawan Kontrak  AbstractThe COVID-19 pandemic that struck in early 2020 has impacted society's socioeconomic community on worker sustainability and income. The purpose of this study is to know how job insecurity influences the organization's commitment to contract employees in the COVID-19 pandemic with a quantitative approach. This research involved 100 contract employees at PT. X with sampling technique using purposive sampling method. The scale used is the job insecurity scale and the organizational commitment scale. Data analysis is done using a simple, linear regression technique. The results of this research show that job insecurity does affect the organization's commitment to contract employees in the COVID-19 pandemic. The higher job insecurity possessed by contract employees will cause employee organizational commitments to plummet.Keywords: Job Insecurity, Organizational Commitment, Contract Employees
