<![CDATA[This research is situated in the context of the evolving digital era, highlighting the imperative for proficient employees capable of fulfilling their roles and responsibilities to achieve organizational objectives. The study explores the strategies employed by the Human Resources Development Agency of West Java Province in enhancing employee competencies, drawing upon Hasibuan's theoretical framework. This framework encompasses educational methods, training initiatives, and transfers as means of competency development. The qualitative descriptive research method is employed, and data is gathered through documentation studies, observations, and interviews. The study is conducted at the Human Resources Development Agency of West Java Province facility situated at Jl. Colonel Masturi No. 11 Cipageran Cimahi. The findings reveal that employee competency development is achieved through three key approaches: education, training, and transfers. The research concludes that the competency development processes at BPSDM West Java Province align with sound management principles, encompassing planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating stages.]]>
