This research was conducted based on learning activities in grade II at SDN 4 Wates, Slahung District, Ponorogo Regency, which showed that the achievement in writing stories in Indonesian language subjects was still low. The objective was to improve students' learning achievements using the Drill method and picture series as learning media. This method was applied in three learning cycles. The results showed an increase in the average student scores above the KKM in each cycle, namely pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2. Additionally, the use of picture series also increased students' learning motivation. Thus, the use of picture series media is effective in improving students' achievements in writing stories. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas II SDN 4 Wates, Kecamatan Slahung, Kabupaten Ponorogo, yang menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar menulis cerita pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia masih rendah. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa melalui metode Drill dan media gambar seri. Metode ini diterapkan dalam tiga siklus pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa di atas KKM pada setiap siklus, yaitu pra siklus, siklus 1, dan siklus 2. Selain itu, penggunaan gambar seri juga meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media gambar seri efektif dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar menulis cerita siswa.
