<![CDATA[Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi membaca siswa kelas IV UPTD SD Negeri 73 Parepare dengan menerapkan strategi PORPE. Jenis pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian yaitu 1 orang guru kelas dan 25 orang siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian ini adalah aktivitas guru dan siswa siklus I belum mencapai indikator keberhasilan dengan kategori cukup (C). Pada siklus II aktivitas guru dan siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan dengan kategori baik (B). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah penerapan strategi PORPE dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas IV UPT SDN 73 Parepare dengan data yang diperoleh dari soal evaluasi akhir siswa. This study aims to determine the reading literacy skills of class IV students UPTD SD Negeri 73 Parepare by applying the PORPE strategy. This research used Classroom Action Research (PTK). The type of approach used is a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests and documentation. The research subjects were 1 class teacher and 25 students. The research was conducted in two cycles. The results of this study indicate that the activities of teachers and students in cycle I have not yet reached the success indicator with the sufficient category (C). In cycle II, the activities of teachers and students have increased in the learning process so that it has reached the success indicator with the good category (B). The conclusion of this study is that the application of the PORPE strategy can improve the reading skills of of class IV students UPTD SD Negeri 73 Parepare with data obtained from the students' final evaluation questions.]]>
