Abstract

The research had been done to examine the differences and the higher learning outcomes of students knowledge using performance assessment based on scientific approach to the performance of conventional assessment. The design in this study used The Static Group Comparison. The results showed that there were differences in learning outcomes of students knowledge using performance assessment based on scientific approach to the performance of conventional assessment and the higher learning result was using performance assessment based on scientific approach.Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar sains menggunakan performance assessment berbasis scientific approach dengan performance assessment konvensional dan mengetahui manakah hasil belajar sains yang lebih tinggi antara keduanya. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah The Static Group Comparison. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sains menggunakan performance assessment berbasis scientific approach dengan performance assessment konvensional dan hasil belajar lebih tinggi menggunakan performance assessment berbasis scientific approach.Kata kunci: performance assessment, scientific approach, hasil belajar
