Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research to increase the learning achievement of natural sciences by the application of scientific approach with inquiry model. This classroom action research implemented in two cycles that consists of plan, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected using observation and test, then analyzed using qualitative and quantitatives technique. The research outcome shows that the application of scientific approach with inquiry model could raise study result of natural sciences.Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA dengan menerapkan pendekatan saintifik dengan model inkuiri. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan tes. Data dianalisis dengan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan model inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, IPA, model inkuiri, pendekatan saintifik
