This study aims to (1) describe the form of the realization of the principle of language cooperation in the Pandawa Boyong wayang orang performance (2) describe the form of the realization of the principle of language politeness in the Pandawa Boyong wayang orang performance. The research subject is the Pandawa Boyong wayang orang performance and the object is the cooperative principle of Grice's theory and the principle of politeness in language theory of Leech. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of descriptive analysis. The technique used in this research is Proficient Involvement Free Listening (SBLC). In this study, there is a realization of compliance with the principle of cooperation and the principle of language politeness. There are 243 speech data, there are 90 compliance and 44 violations of the principle of cooperation. Meanwhile, the realization of the principle of language politeness was 88 compliance and 71 violations. Compliance with the principle of cooperation is found in the maxim of quantity, while in language politeness, namely the maxim of wisdom. The biggest violation of the cooperative principle is relevance, followed by politeness in the maxim of praise. Overall, the realization of the two principles, dominant in obedience, can be interpreted that the speech in the Pandawa Boyong wayang orang performance is said to comply with the principle of conversation.
