This study aims to analyze differences in student learning outcomes in science using PhET Simulation learning media using ordinary learning media, analyze differences in science learning outcomes students have high learning motivation with low learning motivation in class IX SMP Negeri 7 Tarutung, and analyze the interaction between computer learning media and learning motivation on science learning outcomes for grade IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Tarutung. The research population was all grade IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Tarutung. The sample was set at 55 people consisting of 2 (two) classes, with details of class IX-A totaling 30 people, class IX-C totaling 25 people. The research design used in this study was an experimental design with a 2x2 factorial. In this study, the first independent variable consisted of two, namely PhET Simulation media and ordinary media. Meanwhile, the second independent variable (moderator variable) consists of high and low learning motivation and the dependent variable is science learning outcomes. The results showed that based on the Anova test, the results obtained were sig = 0.000 < sig = 0.05, which means that the science learning outcomes of students using PhET Simulation media were higher in science learning outcomes of students using conventional media. Based on the Anova test, the results obtained are sig = 0.003
