<![CDATA[In power systems, the behavior patterns of excitation system voltage is very important to note because it can affect the voltage stability of the power system. Several previous studies showed performance behavior pattern generator excitation system voltage is less than satisfactory at the point of operation. Under these conditions, conducted a study of the patterns of behavior of dynamic voltage generator excitation system with pole placement method using the Bass-Gura algorithm. With the help of information obtained by Matlab software, that behavior pattern generator excitation system voltage indicates better performance compared to the performance of the behavior patterns of excitation system voltage without the pole placement method.Keywords: generator excitation systems, pole placement method, bass-Gura, performance AbstrakDalam sistem tenaga listrik, pola tingkah laku tegangan sistem eksitasi merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk diperhatikan karena dapat mempengaruhi kestabilan tegangan sistem tenaga listrik.  Beberapa penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan performansi pola tingkah laku tegangan sistem eksitasi generator yang kurang memuaskan pada titik operasinya. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, dilakukan suatu studi dinamik mengenai pola tingkah laku tegangan pada sistem eksitasi generator dengan metoda penempatan kutub menggunakan algoritma Bass-Gura. Dengan bantuan perangkat lunak Matlab diperoleh informasi, bahwa pola tingkah laku tegangan sistem eksitasi generator menunjukkan performansi yang lebih baik dibandingkan performansi pola tingkah laku tegangan sistem eksitasi tanpa metoda penempatan kutub.Keywords: generator excitation systems, pole placement method, bass-Gura, performance  ]]>
