<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of social personal guidance on students at SMP Negeri 4 Tarakan. This type of research is pre-experimental design research with the form of one group pretest-posttest and a population of 339 students and the number of samples from the results of purposive sampling as many as 15 students in class VIII. Data collection techniques with social behavior scales. Data analysis techniques in this study, using descriptive statistical analysis techniques to test the average change score before and after treatment, which is 58.40 to 107.13 and inferential statistical analysis techniques to test the hypothesis using the Wilcoxon test with the help of the SPSS 23.0 for windows program. Based on the results of research before and after treatment, the results of hypothesis test calculations with decision making based on probability obtained asymp sig value = 0.001 < ? = 0.05 which means that Ho is rejected, therefore it can be concluded that there is an effect of social personal guidance on the social behavior of students at SMP Negeri 4 Tarakan. ]]>
