Waste is one of the increasingly pressing global environmental problems. Waste management is a complex challenge that requires efforts from all parties, including individuals, government, industry and the international community. Elementary students really need to be equipped with knowledge related to caring for waste, starting from throwing rubbish in the rubbish bin, to knowing about the types of rubbish and their uses. There are many ways to recycle waste, but there is a recent breakthrough in processing plastic waste which has a tremendous impact on the environment, namely by making plastic waste into ecobricks, namely environmentally friendly bricks made from plastic bottles filled with plastic waste until they are solid. The place for community service is at SDN Kalimas 1 and SDN Kalimas 2, where the training participants are grade 5 students. The service activities carried out are socialization on the importance of keeping the environment clean, socialization on the introduction of types and their sorting, and training on making ecobricks. This PKM program received positive support from the school and the training participants, namely grade 5 students, were very enthusiastic about participating in the ecobrick training and demonstration.
