<![CDATA[The aim of this research is to increase interest and learning outcomes by implementing the Direct Instruction model with multimedia in mathematics subjects for class VIII A students of Mts Nurul Ikhlas Sepande Candi Sidoarjo. This research is classroom action research with the application of a direct learning model (Direct Instruction). The subjects of this classroom action research were 40 students in class VIII A at MTs Nurul Ikhlas Sepande Candi Sidoarjo. This research was carried out from February 2019 to April 2019. The types of data collection techniques used by researchers in this research were tests, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses quantitative techniques. From the results of learning activities that have been carried out over two cycles, and based on all the discussions and analyzes that have been carried out, it can be concluded as follows: the percentage increase in student interest in learning from Pre-cycle to Cycle I is 9.04 or has a percentage increase of 20.41%. Meanwhile, the percentage increase in interest in learning from Cycle I to Cycle II was 12.86 or had a percentage increase of 24.11%. And in accordance with the success indicators that have been determined, the increase in student interest meets the good criteria. So this action research is said to have succeeded in increasing student interest. From the evaluation analysis of cycles I and II, the results of student learning completeness and the average evaluation score (daily tests) are as follows: it can be seen that the increase in the percentage of student learning completeness from Pre-cycle to Cycle I is 4.77 or has a percentage increase of 13 .35%. Meanwhile, the increase in the percentage of learning completeness from Cycle I to Cycle II was 19.44 or had a percentage increase of 48.50%. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar dengan penerapan model pengajran langsung (Direct Instruction) dengan multimedia pada mata pelajaran matematika siswa kelas VIII A Mts Nurul Ikhlas Sepande Candi Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan penerapan model pembelajaran langsung (Direct Instruction). Subyek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A di MTs Nurul Ikhlas Sepande Candi Sidoarjo sebanyak 40 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan Pebruari 2019 sampai dengan bulan April 2019. Jenis teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti pada penelitian ini adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik kuantitatif. Dari hasil kegiatan pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan selama dua siklus, dan berdasarkan seluruh pembahasan serta analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut kenaikan prosentase minat belajar siswa dari Pra-siklus ke Siklus I adalah 9,04 atau mempunyai prosentase kenaikan sebesar 20,41%. Sedangkan kenaikan prosentase minat belajar dari Siklus I ke Siklus II adalah 12,86 atau mempunyai prosentase kenaikan sebesar 24,11%. Dan sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan, maka peningkatan minat siswa memenuhi kriteria baik. Sehingga penelitian tindakan ini dikatakan berhasil meningkatkan minat siswa. Dari analisis evaluasi siklus I dan II diperoleh hasil ketuntasan belajar siswa dan rata-rata nilai evaluasi (ulangan harian) sebagai berikut:dapat diketahui bahwa kenaikan prosentase ketuntasan belajar siswa dari Pra-siklus ke Siklus I adalah 4,77 atau mempunyai prosentase kenaikan sebesar 13,35%. Sedangkan kenaikan prosentase ketuntasan belajar dari Siklus I ke Siklus II adalah 19,44 atau mempunyai prosentase kenaikan sebesar 48,50%.]]>
