Muhammadiyah, as a missionary movement that prioritizes the purification of Islamic values, initially positioned itself far from culture because it was considered to be in conflict with religious values. However, through internal criticism and discussion programs, Muhammadiyah began to review the cultural concepts they adhere to. As a result, they succeeded in renewing their view of culture by adopting new strategies to open dialogue and transform culture towards a life that is more in line with Islamic principles. This research highlights Muhammadiyah's efforts to integrate religious values with local cultural values to achieve better social and spiritual harmony.
