This study aims to explore the concepts of Mahabbah (love) and Rahmah (compassion) in Islam through a phenomenological approach. Mahabbah and Rahmah are two fundamental values in Islamic teachings that influence the spiritual and social life of Muslims. This study employs a qualitative method with in-depth interviews with several scholars, academics, and religious practitioners to understand how these concepts are perceived and applied in daily life. The findings reveal that Mahabbah and Rahmah are not only related to the relationship between humans and God but also in interactions among people, creating social harmony and well-being. In conclusion, a profound understanding of Mahabbah and Rahmah can enhance morality and ethics in Muslim communities.
