Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan membaca pada siswa kelas ll UPT SD Negeri Latsari 1 Bancar. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif yang fokus pada pengamatan yang dilakukan secara mendalam terhadap objek penelitian. Subjek penelitian ini guru dan siswa di UPT SD Negeri Latsari 1 Bancar. Selain itu, teknik pengambilan data dengan metode wawancara yang dilakukan dengan guru kelas II di UPT SD Negeri Latsari 1 Bancar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesulitan membaca siswa disebabkan karena kesulitan dalam mengenal huruf,mengeja huruf, kurang memahami isi bacaan sehingga membuat mereka terbata-bata. Strategi guru kelas yang dilakukan adalah Mengadakan Ekstra Calistung setiap pulang sekolah, pendekatan pada siswa yang berkesulitan membaca agar tidak tertinggal temannya yang lain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca guru memiliki banyak sekali strategi seperti mengadakan ekstra calistung, melakukan pendekatan secara individu dengan siswa dan memberikan motivasi kepada motivasi. Peneliti menyarankan sebaiknya guru harus menyampaikan kepada orang tua siswa bahwa peran orang tua sangat penting untuk mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada siswa sehingga proses pembelajaran berjalan dengan lancar. Kata kunci: Kesulitan Membaca,Penyebab,Strategi Guru Abstrack This research aims to analyze reading difficulties in class 2 students at UPT SD Negeri Latsari 1 Bancar. The type of research carried out was qualitative. The research method used is descriptive which focuses on in-depth observations of the research object. The research subjects were teachers and students at UPT SD Negeri Latsari 1 Bancar. Apart from that, the data collection technique used the interview method which was carried out with class II teachers at UPT SD Negeri Latsari 1 Bancar. The results of the research show that students' reading difficulties are caused by difficulties in recognizing letters, spelling letters, not understanding the content of the reading, which makes them stutter. The class teacher's strategy is to hold extra Calistung every time they come home from school, to approach students who have difficulty reading so that they don't fall behind their other friends. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that in overcoming reading difficulties teachers have many strategies such as holding extra calistung, taking an individual approach with students and providing motivation. Researchers suggest that teachers should convey to students' parents that the role of parents is very important in overcoming students' reading difficulties so that the learning process runs smoothly.
