This study aims to describe the implementation strategies of religious-based character education in the Catholic school environment as seen from the role of the school principal as an inspirator, motivator, and communicator. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection involves collaboration of several supporting methods including observation, documentation, and interviews with 6 informants. The collected data is analyzed using interactive analysis methods, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity testing is conducted using triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of religious-based character education in schools is driven through the efforts of the school principal as an inspirator, motivator, and communicator. The school principal encourages changes and religious values among teachers, motivates them to improve performance and professionalism, and ensures understanding and implementation of character education policies within the school environment. With synergistic roles, religious-based character education can be successfully implemented in schools.
