Abstract

Abstrak: Aplikasi ekonomi kreatif telah menjadi trendsetter di banyak negara di dunia. Konsep creative economy menjadi terobosan bisnis baru yang memadukan unsur kreativitas dan pembaruan dalam pembangunan ekonomi. Peneliti terdahulu telah banyak yang melakukan penelitian di sektor UMKM dengan memperhatikan fenomena sektor ekonomi kreatif, namun kajian mendalam tentang UMKM masih kurang. Kajian ini bermaksud untuk menggali fungsi dari Dinas Ekonomi Kreatif dalam Pemberdayaan UMKM perempuan di Kabupaten Sleman. Penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan secara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi telah digunakan pada studi ini. Hasil studi menginformasikan telah ada dan terus berlanjut upaya pemberdayaan yang dilakukan oleh dinas ekonomi kepada para pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Sleman. Bentuk pemberdayaan yang dilakukan di antaranya pendampingan dan sosialisasi. Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan; UMKM; Pendampingan Abstract: The application of the creative economy has become trendsetters in many countries around the world. The creative economy concept is a new business breakthrough that combines elements of creativity and innovation in economic development. Many previous researchers have conducted research on the MSME sector by paying attention to the phenomenon of the creative economy sector, but in-depth studies on MSMEs are still lacking. This study intends to explore the function of the Creative Economy Service in empowering women's MSMEs in Sleman Regency. This research used descriptive research, data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study results indicate that there have been and are continuing empowerment carried out by the economic service for MSME actors in the Sleman Regency. Forms of empowerment carried out include mentoring and socialization. Keyword: Empowerment; MSMEs; Mentoring
