There are so many difficulties faced by students in the learning process, especially in solving math problems, with various underlying factors that have not been fully identified. The aim of this research is to identify the learning difficulties experienced by students. This research specifically focuses on identifying the learning difficulties faced by twelfth-grade students at SMAN 2 Tondano. By using a descriptive qualitative approach, the researcher acts as the primary instrument in collecting data through questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis conducted refers to Sugiono's four-stage model, which includes data reduction to simplify raw data, data presentation in an informative form, data verification to ensure accuracy, and drawing conclusions based on research findings. The research results show that the majority of students have difficulty understanding problems (55%). The ability to plan and solve problems is categorized as moderate (70% and 60% respectively), while the ability to review solutions remains the biggest challenge (75%).
