<![CDATA[This research explores the implementation of the Apostille Convention in the Indonesian legal system with a focus on Apostille legalization services. The Convention is intended to facilitate the legalization process of public documents so that they can be used abroad. Through the normative juridical research method, this article analyzes the impact of the Apostille Convention on efficiency, effectiveness, and adaptation in the Indonesian legal system. In the context of Indonesian legislation, Presidential Regulation No. 2 of 2021 and Regulation No. 6 of 2022 prove Indonesia's attachment to the Apostille Convention. This accession process confirms Indonesia's commitment to comply with the principles of the convention, and the Indonesian Minister of Law and Human Rights plays an important role as the Competent Authority. By utilizing an online platform, this service accelerates and simplifies the document legalization process, providing better accessibility for the public. The implementation of Convention Apostille also brings positive impacts to Indonesia's international competitiveness in business transactions, education, and population administration. Nonetheless, this study suggests increasing public awareness, developing online services, international collaboration, and stabilizing regulations as measures to improve the implementation of Convention Apostille in Indonesia.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengeksplorasi implementasi Convention Apostille dalam sistem hukum Indonesia dengan fokus pada layanan legalisasi Apostille. Konvensi ini dimaksudkan untuk mempermudah proses legalisasi dokumen publik agar dapat digunakan di luar negeri. Melalui metode penelitian yuridis normatif, artikel ini menganalisis dampak Convention Apostille terhadap efisiensi, efektivitas, dan adaptasi dalam sistem hukum Indonesia. Dalam konteks perundang-undangan Indonesia, Peraturan Presiden No. 2 Tahun 2021 dan Peraturan Nomor 6 Tahun 2022 membuktikan keterikatan Indonesia pada Konvensi Apostille. Proses aksesi ini menegaskan komitmen Indonesia untuk mematuhi prinsip-prinsip konvensi, dan Menteri Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia RI memainkan peran penting sebagai Competent Authority. Dengan memanfaatkan platform online, layanan ini mempercepat dan menyederhanakan proses legalisasi dokumen, memberikan aksesibilitas yang lebih baik bagi masyarakat. Penerapan Convention Apostille juga membawa dampak positif terhadap daya saing internasional Indonesia dalam transaksi bisnis, pendidikan, dan administrasi kependudukan. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini menyarankan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat, pengembangan layanan online, kolaborasi internasional, dan pemantapan regulasi sebagai langkah-langkah untuk meningkatkan implementasi Convention Apostille di Indonesia.]]>
