<![CDATA[One of the most popular types of interpretation in the 21st century is the interpretation of scientific verses, or what is commonly known as Tafsir Ilmi. The kawniyah verse examined in this research is QS. Al-A'raf verse 57. The problem raised in this research is the analysis of rain as a natural balance in Surah Al-A'raf verse 57 according to the perspective of Syeikh Muhammad Mutawalli Sya'rawi and how relevant the interpretation of Syeikh Muhammad Mutawalli Sya'rawi is to cosmological theory. This aims to prove that the al-Qur’an is Kalamullah which can be used as a guide throughout the ages because it is in harmony with any scientific developments. The research that the author uses is qualitative library research with a descriptive analysis approach. The results and findings in this research state that Syeikh Muhammad Mutawalli Sya'rawi's interpretation is very relevant to scientific theories about rain and everything related to it. Even though he did not discuss using scientific language in his interpretation, what he interpreted was in line with scientific studies, one of which was the study of cosmology. Like the process of rain which in science is known as the hydrological process.]]>
