ABSTRACT This article examines the implementation of Multidisciplinary Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Madrasahs, focusing on the integration of Islamic teachings with other academic disciplines. The multidisciplinary approach aims to provide a more comprehensive understanding of Islamic principles within the context of contemporary life. The study identifies challenges in the implementation of multidisciplinary PAI, including resource limitations and teacher training, and highlights the benefits of integrating PAI with science, technology, social studies, and the humanities. Key benefits of this approach include enhanced student understanding of Islamic teachings, development of critical thinking skills, reinforcement of Islamic identity, and improved social responsibility. The article also emphasizes the importance of developing a more relevant curriculum and teaching strategies that address these challenges to maximize student learning outcomes.
