This study aims to determine the relationship between the use of social media (Youtube) and reading interest of fifth grade students of SDN Medan Satria II Bekasi City. This study uses a quantitative correlation method. The sample in this study were class Vb students totaling 30 students. The data collection technique is through a questionnaire. Data analysis uses statistical analysis, namely normality test, linearity test, and product moment correlation. The results of the study using Pearson product moment correlation show that there is no correlation between social media (YouTube) and students' reading interest, with the basis for making a decision, namely the significance value <0.05 = correlation, The results of this study obtained a result of 0.384 and a significance of 0.036 and it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between social media (YouTube) and reading interest of grade V students of SDN Medan Satria II.
