Abstract

The research aims to know the learning process with active learning in developing empathy for class V students in elementary school. There are two research participants: SD Laboratory of PGSD FIP UNJ and SD Budi Wanita in Setiabudi Jakarta Indonesia. Research methods use a naturalistic qualitative method. The data collection process is doing by observation, interviews, and document analysis. The observation results analyzed by focused observation, taxonomy analysis, selected observation, component analysis, and theme analysis. The validity of the data is doing by extension of participation, the persistence of observation, and triangulation. The findings suggest that grade V students in elementary school have been able to develop empathy. The strategies that teachers do in active learning to develop empathy in the form of role-playing, Jigsaw, discussion, group work, and use games performed on early activities, core activities, and end-of-learning activities. Using active learning in learning in class V in elementary school can develop students ' empathy.

Abstract

This research and development aim to produce a learning media through character education-based on Tapak Gunung games and specifically introducing character values in Strengthening Character Education in elementary schools. This study is a Research and Development (R & D). The method of this study using the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this study were the teacher of grade IV Elementary School Private Laboratory, Elementary School Teacher Education, State University Jakarta, grade II and IV students of elementary school in total were 24 subjects. Sources of data obtained through interviews and questionnaires, which are then processed using qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results of the validation of this studyobtained an average value of 95% by material experts, 97.05% by media experts, and 96.43% by linguists. Based on student trials, it was obtained an average score of 94.68% for one-to-one, 93.88% for the small group, and 94.16% for the field test. In addition, the media assessment by the teacher obtained a score of 98.21%. The results of this study indicate that the character education-based tapak gunung game media is in a very good category, so it is suitable for use on civic-education learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The research and development aims to produce learning media for Pancasila and Civic Education in the form of a traditional game of engklek, called Engklek Kerjasama (ENGKER) and to test the feasibility of the developed learning media. In addition, this media is to introduce the value of cooperative character to students. The development model used by researcher is ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Respondents in this research and development consisted of class IV elementary school teacher and 16 grade IV students elementary school. Sources of data were obtained from interviews and questionnaires. Furthermore, it is analyzed using qualitative an quantitative analysis techniques. The result of the validation obtained an average value of 97,67% by media experts at 98.52%, the material expert at 96.42%, and the linguist at 98.07%. Furthermore, the product assessment of grade IV elementary school teachers was 98.07%. Then, based on the results of students trials, it was obtained an average value of 93,8% for the one to one stage of 92.5%, the small group stage of  94.86%, and the field test stage of 94.27%. This shows that this media belongs in the very good category, therefore it is appropriate to be used as a learning media for Pancasila and Civic Education for Class IV elementary school especially the material of cooperation in diversity.

Abstract

The aim of this research and development is to develop the student worksheet based on multicultural education for PPKn lesson in IV grade elementary school. The research method used is research and development with the ADDIE development model. There are 5 steps in the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The technique of collecting data used in this research are interview and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research and development is descriptive statistics. Student worksheets are validated by involving 3 experts, including material experts, media experts, and language experts. The subjects of the study were 4th grade students, totaling 4 students for the one to one evaluation and 12 students for the small group evaluation. The results showed that the student worksheets based on multicultural education for PPKn lesson in IV grade elementary school were included in the very good category with a percentage of 90.90% by material experts, 92.85% by linguists and 93.75% by media experts. Trials on students were included in the very good category at the step one to one evaluation of 95.95% and the small group evaluation of 97.91%. This shows that worksheet is feasible to be used as a learning resource in PPKn lesson.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode CIRC melalui layanan kelompok psikoedukasi terhadap pemahaman keterampilan menentukan ide utama mahasiswa Manajemen Pendidikan 2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest nonequivalent group design. Pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling Purposive. Sampel berjumlah dua puluh orang berdasarkan hasil pretest keterampilan menentukan ide utama yang kategori rendah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen keterampilan menentukan ide utama yang bersifat pilihan ganda dengan validitas menggunakan rumus Korelasi Point Biserial yang menghasilkan 68 item valid dan 27 item drop. Reliabilitas instrumen dihitung menggunakan rumus Kuder Richardson number 20 dengan nilai 0,867 menunjukkan reliabilitas tinggi yang artinya instrumen akan terus mendapatkan hasil yang sama bila digunakan lagi di kesempatan lain. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus uji Wilcoxon Match Pair Test. Hasil uji hipotesis menyatakan bahwa Ho ditolak dengan nilai asymp. Sig sebesar 0,005 < taraf signifikansi 0,05 (2-tailed), yang berarti terdapat pengaruh metode CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) melalui layanan kelompok psikoedukasi terhadap pemahaman keterampilan menentukan ide utama pada mahasiswa Manajemen Pendidikan 2014.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of the Student Teams Achievement Division model in improving Civics learning outcomes for elementary school students. This study uses a literature review method by collecting several previous studies to answer the Student Teams Achievement Division model in improving Civics learning outcomes for elementary school students. The data used in this study were obtained through scientific articles taken from the SINTA and Google Scholar databases. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that the use of the Student Teams Achievement Division model can improve Civics learning outcomes for elementary school students by exposing journal content analysis by analyzing subjects, research objectives, research methods/designs, data collection techniques, data analysis techniques, and results study.

Abstract

Abstract Teachers in basic education units at the Indonesian Elementary School and Junior High School Cairo (SIC) need the skills to carry out group guidance activities in fostering the empathetic character of students. The existence of covid 19 causes learning to be carried out only face-to-face, so it is difficult for students to develop an empathetic character. The solution offered is to train teachers in the form of workshops to be skilled at providing group guidance interventions using E-Comic media. The implementation of community service consists of: 1) Focus Group Discussion (FGD 1), 2) Workshop, 3) Focus Group Discussion (FGD 2), and 4) Development of E-Comic. The method used is the Workshop and Focus Group Discussion, as well as the practice of making E-Comic story materials. Participants in the activity consisted of principals and SIC teachers in Egypt. Through the workshop, the result received is the ability of teachers to make E-Comic story materials about empathy to be used by elementary and junior high school students to increase empathy. By conducting community service activities through Workshops and Focus Group Discussions, elementary and junior high school teachers at the Indonesian School of Cairo gain knowledge and skills in making E-Comic story materials that will be used for making E-Comic in increasing the empathetic character of students. Abstrak Para guru pada satuan pendidikan dasar di Sekolah Dasar dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama Sekolah Indonesia Cairo (SIC) memerlukan keterampilan melakukan kegiatan bimbingan kelompok dalam menumbuhkan karakter empati peserta didik. Adanya covid 19 menyebabkan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan tatap maya, sehingga peserta didik sulit mengembangkan karakter empati. Solusi yang ditawarkan yaitu melatih para guru dalam bentuk workshop agar terampil memberikan intervensi bimbingan kelompok dengan menggunakan media E-Comic. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat terdiri dari: 1) Focus Group Discussion (FGD 1), 2) Workshop, 3) Focus Group Discussion (FGD 2), dan 4) Pengembangan E-Comic. Metode yang digunakan dengan Workshop dan Focus Group Discussion, serta praktik pembuatan bahan cerita E-Comic. Peserta kegiatan terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru dan orang tua peserta didik di SIC Mesir. Melalui workshop, hasil yang diterima adalah meningkatnya kemampuan para guru membuat bahan cerita E-Comic mengenai empati untuk digunakan oleh peserta didik SD dan SMP dalam meningkatkan empati siswa. Dengan melakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat melalui Workshop dan Focus Group Discussion para guru SD dan SMP Sekolah Indonesia Cairo mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam membuat bahan cerita E-Comic yang akan digunakan untuk pembuatan E-Comic dalam meningkatkan karakter empati peserta didik.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi yang menghadapi dunia pendidikan terus berkembang. Penggunaan media pembelajaran berbantuan teknologi perlu disikapi oleh guru agar dapat membantu proses pembelajaran di kelas. Media pembelajaran yang baik akan memberikan stimulasi dan juga mendorong hasil belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V pada pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar menggunakan media interaktif iSpring Suite. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur atau literature review. Langkah penelitian yang dilakukan adalah mengidentifikasi topik pada tulisan, meringkas, dan menarik kesimpulan terkait pengetahuan yang dibahas. Peneliti menggali informasi melalui laman Sinta, Scopus, DOAJ, dan Google Scholar.  Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media interaktif iSpring Suite dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat dan selaras dengan tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian pengembangan bertujuan menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) elektronik berbasis pendidikan karakter sebagai penunjang materi pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn). Metode yang digunakan Research & Development, model yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan; Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, dan Evaluation (ADDIE). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Lebak Bulus 04 Pagi. Langkah-langkah dalam tahapan penelitian ini, 1) menganalisis kebutuhan penelitian, 2) perancangan produk, 3) mengembangkan produk, 4) uji coba peserta didik, dan 5) evaluasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan wawancara, dan kuesioner. Hasil uji coba pengembangan dievaluasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa yang diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata sebesar 90,3%dengan kategori sangat baik, sedangkan hasil uji coba pengguna secara online menghasilkan nilai rata-rata 84,45%. Ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan di kelas empat sekolah dasar.Kata Kunci: LKPD, Pendidikan Karakter, PPKn AbstractDevelopment research aims to produce a student worksheet of electronic-based character education as well as supporting the learning materials Pancasila and Citizenship Education. The steps in the stages of this research, 1) analyze the needs of the research, 2) product design, 3) develop the products, 4) trials of learners, and 5) evaluation. Data analysis techniques using interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the test development were evaluated by media experts, material experts, and linguists obtained from an average value of 90,3%with very good category, while the results of user testing online generate an average value 84,45%. This shows that the worksheet learners decent used for learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education in the fourth grade of primary school.Keywords: Student Worksheet, Character Education, Civic Education
