Edukasi Bahaya Asap Rokok di Kampung Tematik Petani Kota Nariswari Semarang

Abstract

Latar belakang: Rumah tidak termasuk dalam Kawasan Tanpa Rokok (KTR). Padahal masih banyak orang tua yang merokok di dalam rumah dan di depan anak-anak. Anak-anak perlu memperoleh edukasi mengenai bahaya asap rokok, agar mereka dapat terhindar dari penyakit akibat rokok. Tujuan: Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan  anak-anak di Kampun Tematik Nariswari mengenai bahaya asap rokok menggunakan media permainan ular tangga. Metode: Edukasi dilakukan secara luring, dan dilaksanakan selama kurang lebih 100 menit, terdiri dari 10 menit pre test, sesi edukasi selama 60 menit melalui permainan ular tangga, dan diakhiri dengan post test selama 10 menit. Hasil: Seluruh peserta antusias untuk belajar sambil bermain menggunakan media permainan ular tangga, namun materi bahaya asap rokok lebih mudah dipahami oleh siswa SD kelas tinggi, dibandingkan siswa SD kelas rendah Kesimpulan: Edukasi melalui permainan ular tangga menarik bagi seluruh peserta, namun materinya belum sepenuhnya dipahami oleh siswa kelas rendah. Many parents still smoke at home and in front of their children. Children need to receive education about the harmful of cigarette smoke to avoid diseases caused by smoking. Objective: To increase children's knowledge in the Nariswari Thematic Village regarding the risks of cigarette smoke using the game Snakes and Ladders. Method: Education is carried out offline and is carried out for approximately 100 minutes, consisting of a 10-minute pre-test, a 60-minute educational session through the Snakes and Ladders game, and ending with a 10-minute post-test. Result: All participants were enthusiastic about learning while playing the Snakes and Ladders game, but the material on the harmful of cigarette smoke was easier for high-class elementary school students to understand compared to low-class elementary school students. Conclusion: Education through the Snakes and Ladders game was enjoyable for all participants, but the material was not yet entirely understood by lower-grade students.
