The objectives of this development research include explaining media development procedures, knowing the level of validity of the media, and the attractiveness of the media so that it is hoped that it can help the learning process of class V MI Miftahul Ulum students in Batu City in understanding material about colonial period events. This research uses research and development (R&D) research by applying the ADDIE model or approach which is divided into 5 stages including (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. The subjects of this research were 34 class V students of MI Miftahul Ulum, Batu City. This research's data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data results were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of this research are the Fun Thinkers Book learning media product which is included in the conventional media category. The results of the validation of learning media products received a score of 92% or in the very feasible category, while the value of learning materials received a score of 90% in the very feasible category, and validation from learning media experts received a score of 97% which is also included in the very feasible category. Apart from the validation results, there are student response results obtained from the questionnaire results with a score of 84% or in the very interesting category. Based on the validation results and field trial results, it can be concluded that the Fun Thinkers Book learning media which contains material about colonial period events is very suitable and very interesting to be used as a thematic learning media in class V MI Miftahul Ulum, Batu City. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini antara lain menjelaskan prosedur pengembangan media, mengetahui tingkat kevalidan media, dan kemenarikan media sehingga diharapkan dapat membantu proses belajar siswa kelas V MI Miftahul Ulum Kota Batu dalam memahami materi peristiwa masa penjajahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian research and developmentI (R&D) dengan menerapkan model atau pendekatan ADDIE yang dibagi menjadi 5 tahapan meliputi (1)Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 34 siswa kelas V MI Miftahul Ulum Kota Batu. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa produk media pembelajaran Fun Thinkers Book yang masuk dalam kategori media konvensional. Adapun hasil validasi produk media pembelajaran mendapat nilai 92% atau dalam kategori sangat layak, sedangkan nilai materi pembelajaran mendapatkan nilai 90% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan validasi ahli media pembelajaran mendapatkan nilai sebesar 97% yang juga termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Selain hasil validasi, terdapat hasil respon siswa yang diperoleh dari hasil angket dengan nilai sebesar 84% atau masuk dalam kategori sangat menarik. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan hasil uji coba di lapangan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Fun Thinkers Book yang berisi materi peristiwa masa penjajahan ini sangat layak dan sangat menarik untuk dijadikan media pembelajaran Tematik di kelas V MI Miftahul Ulum Kota Batu.
