Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar siswa kelas I SDN Wanasari 13 melalui penerapan metode permainan bola kaki dan bola tangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart, yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus melibatkan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan motorik kasar siswa. Pada tahap pratindakan, tingkat ketuntasan siswa hanya mencapai 31,25%. Setelah siklus I, persentase ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 43,75%, dan pada siklus II mencapai 75%. Peningkatan ini dipengaruhi oleh partisipasi aktif siswa, peran guru sebagai fasilitator, serta desain aktivitas permainan yang menarik dan bervariasi. Kesimpulannya, metode permainan bola efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar siswa. Rekomendasi penelitian ini mencakup integrasi permainan bola ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan jasmani, pelatihan guru, dan penyediaan fasilitas yang memadai di sekolah. Improving Gross Motor Skills through Football and Handball Games in Students of SDN Wanasari 13, Bekasi Regency Abstract This study aims to improve the gross motor skills of first-grade students at SDN Wanasari 13 through the implementation of football and handball games. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of two cycles. Each cycle included the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results indicated a significant improvement in students' gross motor skills. In the pre-action stage, the students' proficiency rate was only 31.25%. After Cycle I, it increased to 43.75%, and by Cycle II, it reached 75%. This improvement was influenced by active student participation, the role of teachers as facilitators, and well-structured, engaging game activities. In conclusion, ball games proved effective in enhancing students' gross motor skills. The study recommends integrating ball games into the physical education curriculum, training teachers, and improving school facilities to support these activities.
