Abstract

Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Problem SolvingThis study was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Sigli based on observations and interviews, which revealed that the grades of 11th-grade students in the TITL program were below average. This was attributed to the students' lack of understanding of the material presented by the teachers. The study aimed to assess the effectiveness of the Problem Solving learning model in improving learning outcomes in the subject of Electrical Motor Installation. Using a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method in the form of a pre-test post-test design, data were collected through pre-test and post-test instruments. The results showed that the implementation of the Problem Solving model faced several challenges, such as a lack of student responsiveness during lessons and low student discipline. Despite these challenges, the pre-test results indicated an average score of 51.30, which was below the minimum passing grade (70). However, after implementing this model, the post-test scores increased with an average of 82.17. The application of the Problem Solving learning model proved to be effective in enhancing students' understanding and improving their learning outcomes. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Problem Solving
