Abstract

This study aims to optimize the implementation of clinical supervision to improve teachers' pedagogical competence, particularly in the planning, implementing, and evaluating the learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis conducted at MAN Insan Cendekia Paser, East Kalimantan. The study found that optimizing clinical supervision through direct guidance, comprehensive evaluation, and constructive feedback significantly improves teachers' pedagogical competence. Teachers improved their ability to design learning that meets students' needs and manage classrooms effectively. The optimization of clinical supervision has been proven to enhance teachers' pedagogical competence at MAN Insan Cendekia Paser. These findings have important implications for professional development in other educational settings, particularly in improving the quality of teaching and learning. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pelaksanaan supervisi klinis dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru, khususnya dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen yang dilakukan di MAN Insan Cendekia Paser Kalimantan Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi supervisi klinis melalui bimbingan langsung, evaluasi menyeluruh, serta umpan balik konstruktif dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru secara signifikan. Para guru menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan merancang pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan keterampilan dalam mengelola kelas secara efektif. Kesimpulan: Optimalisasi supervisi klinis terbukti mampu meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru di MAN Insan Cendekia Paser. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengembangan profesional guru di lingkungan pendidikan lainnya, khususnya dalam hal peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran.
