The work program of the Student Community Service Program (KKN) of IAIN Palangka Raya 2024 for group 24 in Sikui Village, Teweh Baru District, North Barito Regency, aims to increase public awareness of environmental cleanliness by collecting concrete waste. A clean environment is essential for health and sustainability, but poor waste management has always been a challenge in this village. There are many aspects to this project, ranging from discussions with local authorities, processing permits, identification of areas to build landfills in strategic areas such as SMAN 1 Teweh Baru, SDN 1 Sikui, and the Sikui village market. The findings show an increase in public awareness of waste management, environmental properties and improvements in waste management. Overall, this project shows that providing sanitation facilities is an effective solution to address waste problems in rural areas, and has the potential to contribute to more sustainable environmental management.
