<![CDATA[Mapalus is a manifestation of the philosophical value of the Minahasa people, namely Si Tou TumouTou, namely humans are born to make other humans. Mapalus culture is also carried out to bereavedfamilies. The purpose of this study is to describe and examine pastoral assistance based on mapalusculture. The author uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques of interviewsand observation and documentation. Indonesian Pastoral Assistance based on mapalus culture hasbeen carried out by the GMIM Imanuel Pianbetengan congregation but the congregation has notrealized that what they are doing is pastoral assistance to Indonesia. Mapalus culture-based Indonesianpastoral assistance has the values of gotong royo, sharing, mutual acceptance and respect, brotherhoodand solidarity. Through pastoral assistance to Indonesia carried out by the GMIM ImanuelPinabetengan congregation, the family comforts the bereaved family so that they are not bound bysadness and are enthusiastic about living life.]]>
