Abstract

At the national level, the achievement of HIV service targets is still low, with only 41% of patients undergoing ARV therapy and 19% experiencing viral suppression. Compliance with taking ARV medication is an important factor in the success of this therapy. Objective: To determine the coverage of ARV therapy and the results of suppressed viral load in HIV patients at RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati. Method: This study used a descriptive design with a secondary data approach from medical records of HIV patients undergoing ARV therapy at RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and medical record analysis to measure the coverage of ARV therapy and viral load results in HIV patients. Result: The coverage of ARV therapy at RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati was recorded at 77.3%, which is still below the national target of 95%. Meanwhile, the results of suppressed viral load reached 78.6%, also still below the target of 95%. Conclusion: The coverage of ARV therapy and the results of suppressed viral load in HIV patients at RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati have not reached the national target set. The success of ARV therapy is highly dependent on patient compliance in undergoing regular treatment, which needs to be improved to achieve optimal results in controlling HIV.
