PERBEDAAN MOTIVASI MAHASISWA LULUSAN SMA DAN SMK DALAM MEMILIH PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA (PKK)

Abstrak Motivasi dalam sebuah pemilihan sebuah Program Studi merupakan dorongan untuk mengambil suatu tindakan atau tujuan tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis perbedaan motivasi mahasiswa lulusan SMA dan SMK memilih Program Studi Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK). Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif komparatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Prodi PKK, S1 Departemen IKK yang berjumlah 233 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Proporsional Random Sampling berjumlah 70 mahasiswa terdiri atas 34 mahasiswa lulusan SMK dan 36 mahasiswa lulusan SMK. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner (angket) yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya melalui google form dengan menggunakan Skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa motivasi mahasiswa SMA dan SMK dalam memilih Prodi PKK berada kategori sedang. Berdasarkan nilai rata-ratanya motivasi mahasiswa SMK dalam memilih Prodi PKK lebih tinggi dibandingkan mahasiswa lulusan SMA. Berdasarkan analisis perbedaan terdapat perbedaan motivasi yang signifikan mahasiswa memilih Program Studi PKK antara mahasiswa lulusan SMA dan SMK dengan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) 0,015 < 0,05 dengan nilai motivasi siswa SMK lebih tinggi dibanding siswa SMA.   Abstract Motivation in choosing a study program is an impetus to take a certain action or goal. This study aims to describe and analyze the differences in the motivation of high school and vocational school graduates to choose the Family Welfare Education (PKK) Study Program. This type of research is descriptive comparative. The population in this study were PKK Study Program students, S1 Department of IKK which amounted to 233 students. The sampling technique used a Proportional Random Sampling technique totaling 70 students consisting of 34 students who graduated from SMK and 36 students who graduated from SMK. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire (questionnaire) which has been tested for validity and reliability through google form using a Likert Scale. The results showed that the motivation of high school and vocational students in choosing the PKK Study Program was in the medium category. Based on the average value, the motivation of vocational students in choosing the PKK Study Program is higher than that of high school graduates. Based on the difference analysis, there is a significant difference in the motivation of students to choose the PKK Study Program between high school and vocational school graduates with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.015 <0.05 with a higher motivation value for vocational students than high school students.
