<![CDATA[This study aimed to identify the level of students' critical thinking skills in static fluid subject for class XI MIPA 2 SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi in the academic year 2020/2021. This research was a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicated that the level of students' critical thinking skills in static fluid subject was categorized as critical. For the ability to think critically includes five indicators; namely giving simple explanations with a percentage of 46% in the critical category, building basic skills with a percentage of 46% in the critical category, concluding with a percentage of 45% in the non-critical category, making further explanations with a percentage of 77% being categorized as non-critical, as well as strategies and tactics with a percentage of 51% in the very critical category. It is suggested that for further researchers to carry out similar research or develop a set of ways to improve students’ critical thinking skills, thus the learning process could be carried out well.]]>
