This study aims to analyze the selection of torpedoes used on the KRI Bung Tomo Class in dealing with maritime security threats in the Natuna Sea, which is a strategic area in the context of Indonesian defense. Threats to maritime sovereignty and security in the Natuna Sea are increasing, with unilateral claims and military activities from certain countries. Therefore, the selection of the right torpedo on the KRI Bung Tomo Class is crucial to improve the ability to detect and deal with threats effectively. The research method used is quantitative. Quantitative is defined as part of a series of systematic studies of phenomena through data collection, which are then measured using mathematical or computer statistical techniques. The general characteristics are playing with numbers and the results of the research will use tables, statistical analysis and graphs. The results of this study are expected to provide strategic recommendations for the development of the Indonesian Navy's combat strength, especially in dealing with potential threats in the Natuna Sea. With the selection of the right torpedo, it is hoped that the KRI Bung Tomo Class can be more optimal in supporting maritime security and patrol tasks in the region.
