The health of postpartum women is one of the important indicators in determining the quality of health services in an area. In Nagari Rimbo Binuang, Pasaman District, there are still several obstacles in fulfilling basic health services for postpartum mothers, including lack of knowledge about infant care and completeness of immunisation. This community service activity aims to improve the health of postpartum mothers through physical examinations and health counseling, as well as ensuring the completeness of immunisation of toddlers and infants. Activities are carried out directly on postpartum patients with a home visit approach and extra posyandu. Health counselling was carried out by lecturers, while physical examinations were carried out by Akbid Pasbar students. This activity shows that direct patient pick-up and assistance is effective in increasing postpartum mothers' compliance with the child immunisation schedule. Infant umbilical cord care also improved after counselling and direct guidance, despite challenges such as incomplete health documents and parents' personal preferences in choosing immunisation sites. Intensive and personalised health counselling and physical examination improved the awareness and actions of postpartum mothers towards their own and their babies' health. Continuous efforts and collaboration with local health facilities are needed to overcome existing obstacles and improve the quality of maternal and child health services in Nagari Rimbo Binuang.
