<![CDATA[A study has been conducted regarding the evaluation of the use of antituberculosis drugs (OAT) in pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) patients at Arifin Achmad Hospital in Riau Province during the period January–October 2022. This study aims to determine patterns of use of anti-tuberculosis drugs (OAT), evaluate errors in the use of anti-tuberculosis drugs based on The 2016 National Tuberculosis Control Guidelines from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, and test the relationship between treatment outcomes and gender, age, and length of treatment. This research is descriptive in nature, with data collection conducted retrospectively. The results of the study showed that 94.3% of the patients at the hospital were given KDT-type OAT (fixed-dose combination), while for recovery, it reached 71.7%. Based on compliance with the 2016 National TB Control Guidelines standards for indications, dosage, and drug selection, it is 100% balanced. Analysis of the relationship between several factors on treatment outcomes concluded that the factors Gender (p = 0.014; p 0.05) and Age (p = 0.183) both had no significant relationship to patient treatment outcomes. While the length of treatment (p = 0.000; p 0.05) had a significant relationship to patient treatment outcomes.]]>
