<![CDATA[The school literacy movement is an action accompanied by a planned program which is carried out and is aimed at a change in all school members so that they get used to doing habits (writing and reading), literacy activities are reading, listening, writing and speaking which helps students find and process the information they need themselves. The problem formulation in this research is "How to Implement the School Literacy Movement (GLS) to Increase Students' Interest in Reading at SD Negeri 14 Banda Aceh". This research aims to find out how the school literacy movement (GLS) is implemented to increase high school students' interest in reading. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The subjects of this research were several high class students, school principals, and literacy development teachers. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews and a questionnaire consisting of 17 questions. Based on the results of this research, it shows that students' interest in reading is in the very good category. And the school literacy movement is carried out in accordance with the principles of reading activities at the habituation stage with seven indicators that are well implemented to support literacy activities. With literacy, students can increase their interest in reading and students are also able to convey the essence in a 15 minute reading activity. It can be concluded that the existence of a school literacy movement program can increase interest in reading in high class students.]]>
