RESILIENSI IBU SINGLE PARENT DENGAN ANAK AUTISM

Abstract

Abstrak Resiliensi sangat dibutuhkan oleh ibu single parent dikarenakan terdapat stressor akibat perceraian dan kelelahan orang tua dalam mengurus anak tanpa pasangan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses dan faktor resiliensi ibu single parent dengan anak autism. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dapat diperoleh melalui proses wawancara semi terstruktur dari dua partisipan ibu single parent yang memiliki anak terdiagnosis autism dan disebabkan karena perceraian. Data tersebut diperoleh dalam bentuk transkip wawancara menggunakan analisis tematik dengan proses triangulasi data dan member checking pada subjek. Hasil pada penelitian ini menemukan dua tema besar yaitu dinamika resiliensi pada ibu single parent dan faktor pelindung yang dapat mempengaruhi ibu single parent dengan memiliki anak autism. Pada dinamika itu sendiri ibu single parent mampu melewati kehidupan yang lika-liku baik dari permasalahannya, perjuangannya, dan pencapaiannya menjadi seorang ibu single parent mulai dari mengembangkan aspek-aspek positif dalam dirinya dan menjadikannya anaknya sebagai rem serta faktor yang mendukung adanya dukungan dari keluarga dan kerabat yang mencarikan solusi untuknya dan menganggap bahwa dibalik kejadian tersebut akan ada hikmah yang datang kepadanya. Kata Kunci: resiliensi, ibu single parent, autism Abstract Resilience is very much needed by single parent mothers because there are stressors due to divorce and parental fatigue in taking care of children without a partner. The purpose of this study was to determine the process and resilience factors of single parent mothers with children with autism. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data can be obtained through a semi-structured interview process from two single parent mothers who have children diagnosed with autism and caused by divorce. The data was obtained in the form of interview transcripts using thematic analysis with a data triangulation process and member checking on the subject. The results of this study found two major themes, namely the dynamics of resilience in single parent mothers and protective factors that can affect single parent mothers by having children with autism. In the dynamics itself, single parent mothers are able to go through life's twists and turns, both from their problems, struggles, and achievements to become a single parent mother starting from developing positive aspects in themselves and making their children as brakes and factors that support support from family and friends. relatives who find a solution for him and assume that behind the incident there will be wisdom that comes to him.
